This course will go over the state of the art techniques in applying machine learning to various fields of biology including, but not limited to: regulatory genomics, single cell biology, network biology, etc.
The first couple of seminars will be an introduction to machine learning and deep learning. This will serve as a refresher to the field. Subsequent classes will involve the students making a presentation and a report. This could be done in a group or individually, depending on time and other constraints.
